Your acupuncture may be covered by ACC if it meets the specific requirements of an ACC claim.

Acupuncturists can not start an ACC claim, which means if you would like treatment for your injury funded by ACC you will need a GP, physiotherapist or osteopath to start a claim for you.

As of December 15, if you are eligible for ACC covered acupuncture you will be entitled to 12 treatments over 12 weeks, from the time you first see your acupuncturist. This is a recent change to the ACC acupuncture schedule.
